Christian Nation - Paul Jehle

1. What is a christian nation?

According to Paul Jehle, a christian nation should display the nature of chrisianity. Which in fact I agree with. It's fairly simple in my opinion to be a christian nation. The problem is, its the people who does wrong things that turn their nation into a non-christian nation. There are many sins and wrong doings committed today but that doesn't necessarily mean that the people or the nation isn't christian. Even if you make mistakes that doesn't de-christianize you. Paul have asked, as a christian are you held for the covenant that you profess? The sad thing or as a matter of fact, the reality nowadays is that even though we confess it is like a lie. Confession sort of became a sad thing because people confess jesus is their lord but they live as if money is their lord. That is so disgusting. Will the holy spirit be bringing conviction in their inconsistency?

People do all sorts of wrong or evil things. Inculding the nation as a whole. Paul has stated that there are times where there are criticisms of one nation to another and they even judge one another. Through generations, every culture is different and yet, we somehow maintain the basic principles of what God has taught us or the people before us. As what Paul said, Nations are not judged in the next life the way individuals are. Nations are judged in this life over the generational continuity. As we grow into new generations, we continue this teachings of God. Being a christiann nation is doing the right thing not as an individual in the nation but as a nation. A christian nation would be a nation that confesses christ as his lord through its fundamental declarations.

2. 10 Integrative Questions:

-Will America be a true christian nation in the future?

-Is everybody even aware of this matter?

-What does America plan to do about this matter?

-Why do people even confess if they live as if money is their lord?

-Don't people feel guilty for doing that?

-What if not everyone will cooperte in making the nation a christian nation?

-Will the innocent suffer the fault of the one in fault?

-It is proven for a fact that innocent people suffer the fault of evil, whi is this?

-When will evil ever stop?

-Does anyone even bother making their nation into a christian nation?

3. Is the Philippines a christian nation?

In my opinion, no. I do not think that the philippines is a christian nation purely because it has also lots of sins and wrong doings as a nation. As what Paul said, a christian nation should display the nature of chrisianity and also, a christian nation would be a nation that confesses christ as his lord through its fundamental declarations. There are many filipinos who confess that jesus is their lord but they live as if money is their lord. So I really don't think that the Philippines is a christian nation. It's possible to become one. Yes, it'll be hard but its the same for everybody.
